Outstanding A Level and BTEC Results for 2016
Northolt High school is celebrating another year of outstanding performances from its Sixth Form students in both A Level and BTEC qualifications.
In the academic A level courses, students achieved a 96% pass rate with 32% achieving grades A* - B which allows them access to many top Russell group universities.
Highlights include our head-boy Maksym Lewyckyj who achieved 2 A*s and 2 A grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics. He is currently awaiting confirmation of his place at Cambridge university. Hannah Douglass and Emily Fernando both achieved grades of ABB and have been accepted by their first choice universities. Josh Holt is heading to Southampton after gaining an A* in Maths, an A in Physics and a C in Chemistry. Michael Wroblewski also did us proud with an A grade and 2 Bs.
In our Level 3 BTEC qualifications the Science department has achieved outstanding results again with the majority of students receiving Distinctions or better.
Year 12 students who sat AS exams this year also achieved excellent results which bodes well for next year's A level results.
The staff and students have once again worked incredibly hard to achieve these results and it is pleasing to see the Sixth Form continue to go from strength to strength.
