A Level Results Day 2017

Congratulations are well deserved to Year 13 students who collected A Level results yesterday. We have much to celebrate, for example:
 
  • Basem Iskandarani was successful in his application to study Aerospace Engineering at Queen Mary University London with grade A in Mathematics, grade B in Further Mathematics and Cs in Economics and Physics;
  • Opeoluwa Olubude won her place at Exeter University to read Medicine with A* grades in Biology and Physics and A grades in Chemistry and Mathematics; 
  • Tegan Millard secured her place at Nottingham University with grade As in Biology and Geography;
  • Allan Smith is off to the University of Sheffield to study Journalism with a grade A in Business Studies and grade Bs in English Literature and Government and Politics.
 
Our Applied General students also achieved fantastic results, with eight students being awarded Double Distinctions in both Applied Science and Health and Social Care. They are off to a wide range of university placements, for example, Rubab Ramzan will study Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Westminster, Jhalisa Teka is going to the University of Surrey to study Criminology and Sociology, Ekta Thakur will be studying Biomedical Sciences at Middlesex University.
